#3 The Chill Version of Sri Lanka

Since ancient times, travelers from all over the world have regarded the island as part of a divine experience, through Sri Lankan cuisine but also through also the practices of meditation and Ayurveda to heal the minds and bodies exhausted by the stress of everyday life. For the record, Ayurveda originated in Sri Lanka and has been perfected for more than five thousand years. Based on herbs and food, it was the only method of treatment in the region until the introduction of Western medicines in the 19th century.Meditation plays an important role in maintaining perfect mental health.Buddhist meditation deals mainly with right attention, concentration and sight, three of the Noble Eightfold Path.

Another way to “chill” is just to go shopping simply.A small temporary happiness 😉 A place that offers an excellent opportunity with artisans of jewelry, finely carved wood, pottery and articles made of metal, porcelain, batik, spices and of course tea!
